mhenich123 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 I have a 1978 F-150 xlt ranger and it has 460 with a 60 amp stock alt in it. I am ungrading to the system in my signature and want some help with deciding an alternator to use. Thinking of runnin the XS 2400 as a second battery to a yellow top d35 and wanna run a 140 amp alternator. will voltage drop be a huge problem for the system tht i am putting in it. The Build: -2002 Dakota ext. -Walled off tuned to 32hrtz -3 SA-15s dual 2 ran down to .33ohm -2 batterys -stock alt -AQ 2200 -Knu 1/0 runs and big three Loud by Design FTW!!!!
