System For Weight Room

Hey guys I had a question of what kind of setup I should get for a weight room at my school. The budget is $2500 (MAX). There are two rooms, one is about 20x30 and the other is about 30x30, the 30x30 room has normal height ceilings (9ft). and the 20x30 room is setup kind of oddly. One half of the room has a 9ft ceiling and the other half has a 16ft ceiling. What really got me with these speakers is the fact that they have the typical + and - pole connections so normal speaker wire and a typical receiver could be used, instead of a "power amp" to power the speakers. The teacher wants the speakers to be mounted toward the ceiling to avoid accidental damage to them.

What are you opinions guys? I haven't dealt with PA speakers before and I just wants a couple of views on them..

Any Suggestions on receivers?

In our weightroom we have a crown xti2000 and it jams on 2 jbl MRX515. Gets way louder than we need it. I would suggest the crown any day. If you have 2500 you might as well go with the 4000 but youll have to go with higher handling speakers. Personally i would get something with a 15 in it. Just my 2 cents

Hey sorry I never replied! I just wanted to let you know that we ended up getting 4 JBL MRX515s because they were at a good price at my local guitar center. Thanks for your advice!
