throttle position sensor could cause that. I had mine go bad. Some days id have to mash the gas to get it to start, others it would idle at 2.5k.

Sounds good. I listen to a huge variety of music and it has a good overall response. Gets pretty loud. Only complaint i have is the headunit. Has a huge lack of tuning capabilities. I havent got it metered but hopefully i can get someone to at world finals in a few weeks.

Yeah i think i only put up pics of the first box i built (sub up port back) I rebuilt it last summer and just put the lift on a few months ago.

Just rolled over 150k. had it since i was 16. Dont think ill ever be able to let her go.

i hear ya with the mud terrains being loud. They hum quite a bit as well as cause everything in the car to vibrate

As i sit here clueless of what i should do my senior capstone project on i figured, hell why not ask SMD. So basically i know this is a longshot, but do any of yall have a relatively simple engineering type project that would benefit the car audio community, or even the public in general? I'm a mechanical engineer so it should involve mostly something mechanical. For example a kid last year made a device that charged usb devices (ipod, cellphone, etc) from walking motion. This is just a prelim of ideas for next year but i gotta write a paper on some idea for tomorrow. Thanks

Yeah i figured id get atleast one of these......i never said they didnt make a good product. I just said i hate the hype that comes with it. I think its a bit obtuse to say that my argument is invalid. The thing works and im not out saying its the best thing ever. It simply works.
