timtim146 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 Ok guys so im running 4 alpine type r 5x7s off a alpine mrp-f550 with the alpine cda-105. My problem is i my 5x7s still sound fairly distorted when i turn them up pretty loud. And they really dont sound that good for how much they were. My question is what do you guys think i can do to fix it? I was thinking an EQ would help since my HU really doesnt have one. But im running 4 gauge and i have no voltage drop. wolfpack Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 sounds like your gain is set too high. re-tune your amp. 2010 Subaru Impreza Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD 2 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 Audison LRx 1.1K superglue a dildo to the center of the cone....lube it.....then have that dumbass sit on it while playing a 10hz note haha, this reminds me of a paintball sticker i have "my balls slap at 300fps" now I want a sticker that says "i fuck at 10hz"
