I've been looking for something to keep an eye out on my house for a while now and never really had the motivation to find something until that happened, so I looked and couldn't find anything I wanted. I didn't want to pay a monthly service fee, I didn't want just a security camera recording, I didn't want anything but a flat rate charge, I did want to be able to know when somebodys in my house with some kind of alert to my phone, and I wanted it done affordably. It sends email alerts when the alarm is activated, it sends snapshots when the motion alarm is set off. It can be viewed remotely from your phone! If you shop around you can find them for cheaper but regardless the price its well worth it, it set up super easy, getting some of the more intricate things set up takes some work but once they work...they work. It's linux based so I think its very trustworty. Plus its downright cool.
