need suggestions with a box

Recommended Posts

For box calculators, most people use Torres' calculator, which you can download in the sticky in the subs/boxes section here on the forum. Otherwise I like WinISD Beta, you can find it by googling it.

For the modeling program it's google sketchup, just search sketchup in google and you'll find it.

Cool thanks. I tried downloading the torres one from the forum but i don't know wtf happened lol ill have to try again.

What is your distance from floor to window line?

Ok from where I want to start the box to give me room for the amps under it is around 25 inches. So the box you suggested was 26" high so that will be good

depending on the size of ur amps & the depth of ur box, id rather put the amps on top of the box so they can stay cool...

They wont vibrate to much and mess up the amps being on the box? I heard this before thats why I was trying not to put them on top. I did think of it though for cooling. Maybe I can make some kind of floating rack over the box

I doubt you'll have the space to. A double baffle will kill a lot of box volume. Just mount some 1.5" wide MDF rings behind the sub cutouts so you have a beefed up area to screw into.
