dont turn down that 180 bro, i have that dc 180 and is definitely doing work. infact i replaced my irragi 300 for the dc 180 and it does a way better job trust.

They have a 180hp for my car but they told me it would be at its limits at 3000rms, and extra batteries would be needed.

im not worried about the extra batteries as i already have them hooked up but seems i have to go with the 180 i wont even consider buying off ebay but now they sent me a email saying that i can get a 320amp so im waiting for a call back ill keep you guys posted seems like lack of communication on their part of what they have and dont? lol hmm

Just to clarify, your car with the SC has a double sided belt, and turns CCW with a decoupled pulley and has left handed threads on the rotor shaft. We *can* do it, but not with a denso alternator, we use a different large case on these cars, they are just extremely hard to get ahold of which is why we told you we couldnt do it, we can do it, we just don't have one right now.. The problem with CCW rotation on your car is when you change pulleys on your car to a CW rotor, the belt is trying to loosen the pulley, not tighten it amd you can literally spin he pulley right off the alt... I know you need an alt, but wait until you can get something that will guaranteed work rather than flushing money on a problem child...

yeah good point so then everyone was wrong when they said SC was the same alt as the normal cobalts thanks for clearing that up!

Can you keep me posted? motor in my car is the 2.4 not the 2.0

does anyone know where the pos is on the alternator on a cobalt? i think its the top but i want to make sure doing the big three
