battery help

ok i am new to car audio on my fist system which is a 12" dc lv 4 running off an aq1200. i have been powering it just off the cars battery for the last 2 months but is just too much on it now so if someone could help explain to me how i can wire up a new battery to power it that would be great also if I’m going to need any specific items could you say what they would be
