Help! Kicker D-Series

Hey I hope someone can help me out here. My friend is letting me use his closed box with 2 10" Kicker D-Series (C10D) 8 ohm, since he doesn't have a place for them. It's the same ones in this thread, except the 8 Ohm version.

I was going to hook them up to an Alpine MRP-F240 but I'm only getting Bridged 100W RMS @4 Ohms or realistically I think just 50W since the speakers are 8 ohm. My other option right now would be to hook up my old Crunch V-600 to them but that would be 300W @4 Ohm or I think around 150W @8. I'm just not sure if running it that way could damage the subs. Anyone have a preference here or maybe some other way to hook these up that I'm missing?

Well fwiw I ended up putting it in with the crunch and in my tests so far it doesnt seem to be stressed and I don't hear any clipping or anything. Not an ideal setup but it looks like it should work for now.
