eric78702 Posted March 31, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 the bracing is really up to you just make sure you account for the displacement the more bracing you have the stronger the box will be in this case its better to have too much than not enough i build a box without enough bracing before and the pair of 18s i had in it almost blew it apart i was just thinking of putting a rod or two down the middle of the box. would that be okay? or should i put more? anubis Posted March 31, 2011 Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 (edited) i brace the width twice and the heigth twice and then the port when i do an enclosure over 3-4 cubes just to be on the safe side of things. but in the end its your choice and you can always use 1" mdf and double every enclosure cut too.
