adam6604 Posted April 5, 2011 Report Share Posted April 5, 2011 hey guys i just downloaded torres box calc. and i dont know wtf im doing with it lol but i need a box for my 2 15" RE SX subs in my 98' dodge ram 1500. demensions : 50" wide x 22" deep x 26" tall, thats how much room i have to work with.. i need a 8^FT3 box ( 4^FT3 per sub according to specs,) id like it tuned low like 30-33hz or whatever you suggest, all i listen to is decaf lol. subs up, port up. im not asking for a complete box build from you guys ( would be badd assss if you did for me !) but i just need lots of help, i have NO idea how much port area to make, length, width nothing. lol this is my first box build. Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. Audio: Two 10" Alpine Type R's ( 1000rms models ) Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D @ .5 ohm Two Kinetic 1400 batteries ( soon to have XS power under hood ) Tsunami 1/0 Awg wire throughout truck. Stock Infinity 7 speaker system ( Junk ) soon to be replaced, probably all Alpine. Exterior: 17"Dick cepek rims with 33" Toyo MT tires Bushwacker fender flares Magnaflow true duel exhaust LED tail lights with Projector headlights Plasti-dip fun coming soon!
