truedef
I have one of the viper proximity sensor addons, I just installed it on my alarm. And It doesn't seem to trigger my actual viper alarm, it only triggers the sensor unit, while not triggering alarm chirps or anything. I fiddled with the settings quite a bit. Robert8252
How do you have it installed and what trigger is it actually hooked up to on the alarm? You may need a diode inline with it. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
truedef
How do you have it installed and what trigger is it actually hooked up to on the alarm? You may need a diode inline with it. It is one of the modules made for the viper alarm, it plugs directly inline with the alarm. Its set to trigger full alarm on inside motion detection, and chirp warnings to outside motion detections. Julian@MotoCARR
Make sure you are not adjusting/setting the prox sensor while inside of a garage. You will definitely get some interference between the inner and outer fields giving you false triggers while testing. If you can, mess with the settings at least 10ft outside of a garage/carport area.
