Penny727 Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Hey, I'm trying to figure the big three connections for a 1995 YJ Wrangler. So far I have located some of the connections, but I want someone to verify I'm doing this right. I will be using all 0 Gauge Knuconceptz wire and wire run back to amps will be replaced with Knu wire. Pictures: Battery Negative to Engine Block: I already found the Battery Negative to chassis and am certain that one's correct. Here, it gets fuzzy: Positive terminal has 2 wires: One to a fuse box: And one grounded??????? To the Alternator itself: I think this is the B+ terminal and I have no clue where it goes to. Can I run a 0 gauge wire directly from this terminal to the positive battery terminal? I was thinking it goes to the fuse box and on the fuse box panel I see a 50 amp fuse for "ALT PWR 1" and one 50 amp fuse for "ALT PWR 2". Does this mean that if I were to upgrade the Alternator, I would also have to upgrade this fusing? Any help is much appreciated! I am certainly a noob to electronics as a whole, but I am trying to learn.
