i have messed with the eDuh and its complete crap(even when prepped surface). bibby saw what it had done to my trunk lid. its a mess. if the peel and seel performs better than the edead then wow, eD is really something to avoid alltogether.

thing about deadener is you want to have a nice thick layer. if using peel and seel you will need several layers versus a few layers of raamat or damplifier. you'll probably end up spending about the same to get the same performance. i say save yourself the trouble and get yourself a nice butyl based product.

david: it hasnt fallen off your ride, probally because you know what u r doing pretty well. i dont advise a novice to start there, it will make things worst for them in future.

Ebay is your friend with Sound deadner.

Meglo peal n seal is thick, I would say its very close to the same as dynamat in thickness, I have used mainly dynamate and the stinger roadkill, I used the peel n seal, in my ride because Im a cheap bastard, and it seams to work well if you prep for it and use the correct tools, will it stay on there forever? I dont know, I will never know once I glass the roof.

well if you want go cheaper(not exactly cheap, but for the value), raamat is the way to go.

I must say im a little biased to Second Skin products now that i have used there stuff :).

here is my door i did recently, i used Damplifier from Second Skin. the response was insanley great. It doesnt smell at all and it hasnt melted yet. its pretty thick, and the foil backing is nice. i made sure i put damplifier on the inside panel and outside to make it "dead" as possible. topped off with overkill(closedcell foam)

i plan to order more soon and do the whole trunk as well. i had the eDead on trunk and it fell right off(within a few months). i ended up using spare unused eDead on my computer in the house lol

edit: dynamat is ok, but they will rob you blind and u wont get same performance as SS. there 2 other brands that have really come up well and performed well. Cascade & Hushmat. If you have seen that Sound Deadener Showdown, I spoke with the guy who did that site, his name is Don. He is going to do an updated version soon with those 2 products and eDs new stuff. but he already told me that eDs new stuff is not great at all, they use a plastic backing instead of a foil backing. I can find more info on it if u want
