MACnonsence6 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 so it looks like my recones gona fail not because of the glue i used but because. some how the motor is looks and the basket is able to slide ever so slightly coil doesnt rub at all and ive been hammering this sub with 1k for a while never turn it up that much and if it gets smelly at all i back right off so the subs doing pretty good but since its eventually gona fail becouse of that im looking into other recones besides an se recone for my pair of 12s i need something that can handle 1-1.5 grand daily per sub and about a 2k for short burts. i was looking into a pair of sx recones trying to find xxx recones but so far no luck.. thoughts and opinions? just trying to find a way to max out with the motors i have I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha.
