jiverceFliers
I'm sorry should I be in the inappropriate thread. I am looking for some guidance regarding how to install some home theater speakers. I'm operating my rear speakers wireless by using a 5.8 GHz wireless loudspeaker set. The transmitter ordinarily enters into standby mode when there is no audio. In spite of this, my AV receiver will send out a small hum while in standby which will keep the transmitter awake. The challenge thence is the fact that my cordless amplifiers will also stay on all of the time. That will squander some electricity. But most importantly my speakers will keep emitting the same hum that my AV receiver sends out to the transmitter. I can probably set up something which would physically cut the signal cord between the receiver and transmitter whilst the receiver is in stand by. I'm not very technically savvy and therefore would appreciate tips.
