decided to play around with an fi 10bl. i'm wanting to put it in a truck box, 1.6 cu. after port and speaker displacement. the dimensions will be,50"long, 14"high,5"top height, 9"bottom height. one 4" port 20"long will give me almost a flat 30hz tune. i was wondering about port placement, my first thought was sub behind passenger seat, port opening center of box,with a 90 going to the drivers side, so to put the port as far away from the sub as possible. this is just a trial, not a permanent set-up. is there any holes in my plan, or should this setup sound fairly good. it'll be powered by a fosgate 1500, at just four ohms to start, don't want to blow this lil guy, although it is fully loaded. let me know if i'm missing anything here, or should try something different.
