akrja_07 Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Ok, so I got a new job at Ashley furniture, only thing is it's 100% commission and I have never worked like that before. They state that you average about $18 an hour which sounds AWESOME!!! I'm just curious, anyone out there ever work on 100% commission? Did it work out? I know this company has several policies in place to ensure everyone gets a little something. My sales quota will be 30-40,000 per month and my commission rate is 6%, 3% on clearance. I'm going to give it a shot, right now I work at Dillard's... I probably sell 40-50,000 dollars worth of Polo shit per month and don't see a dime over $10 per hr. for it... that gets annoying fast. I should have no problems selling, I mean they advertise nationally and are widely known for quality. Just looking for some input.
