Need your opinion

So I am upgrading my current sub amp and was looking at the MB Quart ONX1.1500D so I emailed MB to inquire about the rated power. I asked if what they are advertising is unclipped and rated/under rated/ or over rated. I also asked if the amps come with a birth sheet.

Mike's response was "the amps power is rms rated 14.4v unclipped and NO birth sheets because they are bogus and randomly generated"

So do I take the chance on what Mike says about the MB rated power and hope its enough or go with a bench tested proven amp? And doesn't Hifonics have birth sheets?

I want an amp over 1000 and up to 1500 rms @2ohms any suggestions?
