dirtracer27x Posted May 13, 2011 Report Share Posted May 13, 2011 ok so i have 2 old school 12w6 runnin off soundstream rubicon 1.800d,soon to be a cresecendo 1000c4.i have been looking at upgrading muy subs,i went with these as i had 4 back when i was younger and they were unreal.i only paid about $100 for both and there almost perfect.(except one is 12w6v1 and the other is 12w6ae,dont think it matters does it,both dual 6ohm)my question is i have been looking at a sub upgrade.maybe the sundown sa12?this is in our boat so im not going for spl,but just a good loud clean system.any suggestions?would i notice a huge diffrence in changing subs to newer technology?i was told by a owner of one shop,who is very reputable and writes for car audio,that i should just keep the 12w6.any suggestion alpine 794 h/u 6 crescendo ccx 6.5 comps 4 polk db 6x9 3 ways 2 jl audio OG 12w6 v1 1 jl audio OG 10w6 v1 1 soundstream rubicon rubi5.800 5 channel 1 soundstream rubicon rubi2.600 2 channel 1 soundstream rubicon rubi800.1 mono class d 1/0 knu 6 farad soundtream cap soundstream bx 10 soundstream 3 way xover Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
