Power issues

Well I've decided what could be louder than a wall 0f 4 Kicker 15s.... actually it sounds like the wall but its all in the trunk. I have built a loud system but now I need help from the front to back. Currently I'm using 8 Kicker 12s in a sealed box with 2 Power Acoustiks 3000 amps. I have the Billet Specialities Tru Trac one belt system with a modded 160 amp alternator. I have four heavy duty batteries (big rig type sealed slow discharge) and also 1 Power Acoustik 1800 watt two channel amp.

PROBLEM 1: Who can built a higher amp alternator that will fit in my bracket?

PROBLEM 2: I'm using 1/0 ga from alternator to all batteries, from battery bank to power "bolt [stevemeade special]" distribution and 4 ga to amps. Over the two week test period, the last battery terminal broke, exploded, or something???? What went wrong also the 1/0 ga power wire [i admit no soldier] was burnt about 2 inches up through the wire.

PROBLEM 3: If I can't add a second alternator or bigger, how many batteries will I need and what type. I'll be using 4 PA 3000 amps [150 amp draw each max] 4 PA 1800 amps [60 amp draw each max]???

BTW I'm interested in any and all advice suggestions and what to do. The only thing I do want to keep is the 8 12s simply because I wanted more than the other setups I've had. I know less can be louder or just the same but for arguement sake: let me keep my design just suggest what brand of equipment if you were going to design the system.
