superchargedamd Posted June 3, 2011 Report Share Posted June 3, 2011 So I switched the wiring on my subs from series to parallel at the voice coil as it was sugested in the spl tips and i really think it lost a few db.There is still a final load of 1.3 at the amp.Am i crazy?So they start out a as a d2 coil@parallel=1ohm.That gets put in series with speaker #2 for a 2ohm load.Speaker 3 and 4 are the same way.Then the two sets are wired in parallel for a final load.
