Dbforlife Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 So my drivers rear 6x9 speaker has a whistling noise, it plays and all, but when i Pause the song, everything is queit except for it like shhhh sissshshhh whisling noise and comes to a stop about 10 seconds later, play it again it plays, pause- same noise for about 10 seconds, its not blown, nothing, it is amped, to a 4 channel ...sooo? help please 1998 GMC Jimmy 4 Dr. -SINGER 275 Amp Alternator -150 FT. loganbyers07 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Alternator whine. Check your amps ground and your connections for your speaker and the speaker wires. I had the same problem recently. Sounds almost like a turbo.
