I added more ports to the box, and it dropped output badly, so I filled all the holes back in, but never got my 0.8dB back so if its not doing 148dB with these two amps, I doubt it'll do 150 with the two Z1s Would you gain any if you raise the height of each woofer, by cutting stacked O rings? This may decrease the ported chamber volume a bit while adding to the back chamber. Also have you tried firing the subs down into the back chamber with the magnets facing upwards to see if that might help? raising the woofers is a reasonable idea, as it only makes small changes to the volumes would be nice to get my 147.8dB back before playing with other things first as for fecupe2001 SPL test log, I've tried some of them, others are complete nonsense that'll never have any effect on SPL (no offence) and if he saw a gain from it, it was totally coincidence Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
