Please help i am getting a system for my new truck and am getting conflicting info. I am going with 2 Alpine SWR-T12 subs and the new Alpine PDX-M12 amp. Now the question, can i run both speakers off this one amp at 4ohms at 600RMS or should i take this amp back and get two smaller PDX amps or run 2 PDX M-12's.... My main goal is to have the right set up with all Alpine equipment since im getting a deal on the alpine brand. how should i set it up.... The box is almost finished its getting painted on monday..

Thanks for your help

You will be fine with that amp. It does 1200 watts rms at a 2 or 4 ohms load.

<_< I forgot it was SVC, I'm used to DVC. In that case, yes you will be fine. My bad :pardon: Sleepy time...

POTATO!

I don't understand what you are trying to do bro. The PDX-M12 gives 1200 watts rms at a 2 ohms or a 4ohms load. Having 2 single 4 ohms voice coil woofers setup in parallel will give you a 2 ohms load. You will be fine each woofer will see 600 watts rms when wired up this way. The 1200 watts rms of the PDX-M12 is split in half, thus each woofer will still get 600 watts rms.
