I have bought quite a bit of stuff to put in my car but I was wondering if you'se could tell me if my cars alternator would be able to cope? I have a Alpine 4.150 which will be powering some RF t165-2s components and some Phonocar mids (just some cheap rear fill). I also have a JBL GTO-7001 which will be powering an Alpine Type R 12. So thats around 1300w RMS. My car is a Vauxhall (Saturn or Opel to Americans right?) Astra 1.6L VVT SXi. I'm just worried about the two amps taking too much power, would you'se recommend a new battery or an additional battery? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
