My current vehicle is my parents spare SUV (1999 expedition) and they still use this every so often for trips to home depot and such which requires me to take the subs out. I just got a RF 400.4 which is mounded to my sub box and I was wondering if it would cause any problems if I left the power from the HU hooked up to the speakers when the speakers are getting power from the amp. This way I wouldn't have to open up my doors, switch the wires attached to the speakers then remove everything. I would only have to remove sub box and switch the HU from internal amp off to internal amp on. Any help with this would be great I also apologize if this is in the wrong section.
