dmanson Posted October 15, 2007 Report Share Posted October 15, 2007 LOL i didnt realizse that, i think i miss read that table lol well it was late after all anyhow i still havnt gotten round to doing it, i had to work on sunday, late call. i think i'll do it some time this week, and im going to use one 0gauge Wire for the batteries, and 2x 4 gauge for each amp, so 1 0gauge, and then from second battery to amps, 4x 4gauge wires just brought the Orion D5000's! cost me about 850, $1,700 with over 4K watts you'd want to use nothing less than 1/0. as for the run from the battery ........ heck i'm sure that amp will accept 1/0 gauge so there you go, run 1/0 gauge from the battery + to the amp's +. Quote 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative.
