TheNewbie
Alright so i am going to get 2 lvl3 dc audio subs, i was told there underrated and can go around 900-1000w of clean watts daily as long as your easy on the gain. What do they mean easy on the gain? Im sure it's a simple answer, also could you clarify if the above info is true. Thanks guys. optical
easy on gain means set it with a oscope and if you dont know anything about the subs dont try to overpower them.

Azagtoth502
No offense, but you should play it safe & stick to the RMS. Jman08
when they start to stinkin real quick thats a sure sign that you need to turn the gain down and like optical said you can use a oscope Quote Youtube.com/J Hutch22
TheNewbie
Oh okay, well i was just making sure, still a noob to all car audio, hence my name haah, and i don't have an amp for them yet. Still debating on what would be enough to power the two three's to the 900-1000w of clean power, if thats what they can take. TheNewbie
No offense, but you should play it safe & stick to the RMS. Alright, well if that's the case, i'll upgrade to lvl4 so i can run it as 1000w each still playing it safe. Was just trying to save myself some cash seeing how im already having to save up for the subs. Azagtoth502
Depending on the ohm rating you choose for the subs, this could be a perfect match. http://www.audioque.com/AQ1200D-Amplifier_p_30.html This is if you choose LVL 3's Remember LVL 4's will need more power...bigger amp, hence more electrical needs. Your cars electrical all stock? TheNewbie
That amp would be if i went with the exact rms, and the lvl3's correct?
