5K Mobile Electronics
I'm building a ported enclosure for a customer with 6 SA12's on a American Bass VFL500.1, I know I need to go smaller to take advantage of the powerhandling these can take, but what's recommended volume wise and port area wise for these if I'm putting 6k to them? sodfamily
I would go with 12 cubes and around 140-150" of port tuned around 34-35. I was running my 6 sa 12's in box to those specs and it worked fine. I have a build log on here with the set up. I tried tuning from 28 up to 44 and port size from 88" up to 196, and the 140-150" of port tuned around 34-35 seem to work the best. But I also was only running a single SAZ3500 on the so a bit less power..
