unsafe8989 Posted June 25, 2011 Report Share Posted June 25, 2011 Hi I have two Marathon 6000 rated at 1800 watts X2 4 ohms and I have to dual 18 sub boxes at 2000 watts peak and 1200 rms well the amp can definetly make those subs slam but I just bought two dual 18s that are rated 8 ohm 4000 watts peak and 2500 watts rms and the amp is rated 6000 watts at 8 ohm brideged but we all know that thats peak so I don't know the rms and the amp may be two weak so I have use a weak amp on a strong sub will it clip or distort plz I need help so I can buy a new amp or not Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
