Port location question/suggestions

Ok I drew up a ghetto picture real quick so i could ask a question.. I want to wall of my hatchback if i make the right plans.. so this is what my box would look like kinda. I was wondering where i should put the port. Can i use 1 common wall and have the subs up front and port in back? Or should i put the port up front under the subs but then it would be flowing straight into the back of the seats? What are you guys suggestion? the box will be 24" high and the seats sit 15" high.. so if i put my subs at the top they will partially be covered.
