bmph8er
i was wondering what battery could be safely ran with a stock lead acid battery under the hood. my girlfriend is needing to add another battery just to make sure the amps happy and she doesnt have the money to replace both underhood battery and add a second. with it being a civic the underhood battery is tiny so i figured adding a 2nd would be better. i know its said agm batterys and stock wet batterys is said to make the agms go back quicker. so would a gel cell or anything like that work or could i use a vented battery box and vent it outside of the trunk or what do you guys think thanks edit or could i make a nice sealed box and vent it outside of the car sorta like this http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6batt.htm 2001 gmc seirra 5.3 auto 3.73 locked rear, long tube headers, offroad y pipe, duals, cai, black bear tune, 2/4 drop, 22s, rockford fosgate mods and highs and 4 ab hd 15s and a ab 750.1 1995 civic 1.5 auto slower then hell, dropped on coil overs, ex hub caps, 2 12 trunk, have 450 bucks in the car and gets 35 mpg 1992 s10 being bagged, shaved, and small stereo. right now a pile of parts
