zayres29 Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 i currently have a 91 c1500 with 147K i did plan to swap a new 6.0 in it from a newer silverado but i have been thinking about just buying a new truck neither of these choices will happen any time soon but i am trying to plan ahead i things to consider like price and such and most likely i wont be trading my c1500 in because i couldnt give it away if i wanted so ill probably keep it but the cost of the engine swap will probably be around 3k-3.5k and a the truck that im looking for i dont want to spend more than maybe 15k and i could use the 3.5k to put down on a loan i will hopefully be graduating college in may so i will most likely be able to carry a car payment and insurance on a financed vehicle what do you guys think thanks Quote Btw that was the first person.
