-Hobby-
Okay cool so 2 15's in a 9 cube box tuned to like 35? I want to make sure I have everything perfect before I buy them lol sorry. Whats the difference between tuning higher and lower? I want something to pound me in the chest and then some. Personal preference. I would tune at 34hz and keep your port area between 12-14 sq in per net cube. So you want between 108 and 126 sq inches of port area for a 9 cube net box. paulgroce
Okay cool so the DC lvl 4 15's and a net 9 cubic foot box tuned to 34 hz. Also I have read that the direction the port or the subs are facing can effect the bass? -Hobby-
Actually would build around 6.5 to 7 cubes net for a pair of level 4 15's. Then calculate our port area accordingly. 9 cubes is to big. At 6.5 cubes your around 78 - 91 sq in of port. For 7 cubes around 84 - 98 I personally would build the smaller box. Why would you put them in a smaller box? For SQ?
