And here's a quick diagram of the setup(Measure twice cut once... or in this case draw 4 different diagrams, build the 5th. lol)

Even though I said I would have time to take pictures, I really wasn't concerned with doing so.. so theres not many of the making of the box.. But here is what it looks like with the port cut and positioned.

Photo0214.jpg

Throwing some caulk on the edges

Photo0213.jpg

And here's the semi-finished product with the stuff hooked up. The amp isn't positioned how I want it since my amp wire is short from my last setup, but that will be fixed after I paint it since I got some more for free from a buddy :). And yes the wiring is very messy, but it will change, like I said, after i paint it.

Put on some caulk to seal the edges again before getting painted.

He I was wondering if you ha a 45 in the port or not

I do not, but I have seen a lot of people do that. Is it something for looks or does it help the air escape? Look at me asking questions on my own build log :noob:

It helps the air flow a little better but it's unneeded. I was just wondering

ahhhh, ok, cool

  • 3 weeks later...

And here is a very shitty paint job, or rather spray paint job, of the box. Used only 4 cans, and realized after wards that I should have put a black coat of paint so the white didn't shine through, but whatever! But it still looks good in the car!
