Owners1 Hummer H2 (25,000+ RMS)

Recommended Posts

I have decided to post a UBL since my main thread is pretty cluttered with replies and stuff so here goes:

This journey started off as a favor to me from all the wrong doing several box designers (not going to mention names) have done to me by dishing out poor designs and subpar building techniques.

I got a hold of Mike Singer and talked back and forth of doing a wall in my H2 that would beat any box I've had before. At the time, the loudest box I ever had did a 152 but anything over a 150db would more than suffice. We agreed to have the box designed and built here in Florida and that's when the project got started.

The original equipment that was used goes as follows:

Woofers:[8] American Bass XFL 15's

Box Design: 6th Order Bandpass

Power: Two Addictive Audio 500.1's

Speakers: Crescendo Audio Components, Beyma Loudspeakers

Batteries: 10 Kinetik HC16V's

I then went through several changes, fiberglass work, subwoofers, and amplifiers before finally getting to where I am now:

[8] Crossfire VS V2 15s

(4) American Bass 500.1's

(2) Crescendo 1000c4 amps

(16) Crescendo Audio CCX 6.5s, (16) Crescendo Audio CCX Tweeters

(4) 8" Beyma Midrange

(2) Singer Alternators

(14) Kinetik HC16V Batteries

The Hummer is now a heavyweight capable bass boxer holding at number two this season in bass boxing since SBN.

Credit to the build goes to the following people:

Michael Singer (Box & Design)

Jay Kirkpatrick (Box & Design)

Bob Ahuja (American Bass, owner)

Navid Falasiri (Crescendo Audio, owner)

Rusty Flowers (DC Audio, owner)

Roger Briges (Crossfire Audio, marketing & promotions)

Jon Kent (Fiberglass work, Epicenterdesigns, owner)

Rolondo Flores (Fiberglass work)

With that being said, let the pictures commence..
