  1. I normally wouldn't post here BUT: I get asked the question ALL the time if you're an asshole or not. It's frustrating even for me that people think that's the case but it's really not. I actually thought it was pretty awesome with the SOTM stuff I won that you signed all of it and stuff.. I even tried calling you with that number you have on your card to thank you as well. lol Anyways, let the haters hate bro
  2. I had to fight to get a decent view lol. That Hummer is just badass. Yeah sorry about that.. I demoed a lot more on Sunday than I did Saturday since I was waiting to finish IASCA and MECA.
  3. How would you propose that being done? That's like getting a contract that says if I win a street race against you, I win your car. It's illegal and you can't do that. It would basically be on his honor. Which I doubt he has any if he's making such a foolish bet to begin with.
  4. I basically am the source. I asked Navid directly when I saw this post. He gave me the response I posted above to copy paste. Well that answers that then! Is Navid the owner of Crescendo? yes Thanks Freshman, I believe that should answer everyone's questions then! Thanks Owners! No problem!

  6. They are made in South Korea.. Same OEM as AQ and DC use
  7. I don't think that the airbag is even triggered by something in your cabin. Maybe if the sensor under the hood was receiving 160db it could be an issue. My car is pretty loud and I have yet to see an airbag error or anything.
  8. Or not. why not? He may be a bit more well versed in the art of designing a 6th now but I wouldn't know. I went to him for my first 6th order and had it built up from his design. 2 18's, IA Wardens with 2 Addictive Audio 500.1s. Let's be conservative and say 6000rms and it was doing 149db, and smoke was billowing out of the box because they would heat up so fast. When I messaged him about it, he blew it off like it was completely normal. Sorry but that is not a normal score for that power and those subs especially with that speed of them heating up.
  9. I literally LOL'd. I would see this just for the pure comical value of it.
  10. Good choice not to run them. If you are looking at running that kind of power then I support your switch to the big 16v. You did ask for opinions on the subject though so I gave my honest opinion above. I have been running 16v for over a year now so I know all of the pros as well as the cons to having it.
  11. The Kinetiks don't fail. The user does. Granted they have a 12 volt post which looks quite inviting to use for your mids and highs and car to use. However, I've noticed that by using that 12 volt post on the HC16V it pretty much brings your life span of the batteries down to a few months. They also don't like people leaving their external regulators hooked up all night. Once you completely drain them like that, it's time to buy new ones. But, if you take care of them and disregard the 12v post and don't leave a draw on them for days at a time without recharging them, they will last just as long as an XS power. I've had mine for about 6 months with no issues what soever and they still rest as high as the day I got them.
  12. Explain to me how people like dbdon run step-downs daily and has no problem. What will you be fixing all the time? As for running it only for competing and such, I disagree with that too. Unless you are running a 2k watt system in the trunk with no plans to upgrade, I think it's worth it. I'm heavily considering 18v daily, because charging at a higher voltage when all you have the space for is two alts is, IMO, completely worth it. More power from alts, more power from amps. Is it a headache? Yes. Is it worth it? Depends on who you're asking. I think it is. If I could explain to you how people like dbdon run steo-downs daily and have no problems, I would probably not have any problems myself now would I? As far as what I said about 16v being pointless unless you have something ridiculous or a competitor, well... to do a proper 16v install and not do some crap with step downs which lower your 12v voltage or harrison labs flux capacitors, you are going to incur some costs. For a PROPER install, you will need a minimum of two alternators. One 12 volt and one 16 volt as well as a bracket for them. Lets not forget that you will need 16 volt batteries which run at much lower capacity than 12 volt batteries meaning you will need more to get the same reserve. I know that amperage goes up with voltage yaya but that still doesn't suffice for a battery half the size. So with that being said, do you really want to take your 5000 watt system and spend a few grand upgrading the electrical system when you can just buy another 5000 watt amp and keep everything on 12v? tl;dr - step downs fail. proper 16v will cost more than upgrading 12v with a smaller system.
  13. No point at all going 16v unless you have something ridiculous in your car or your a competitor. I don't really know what you have but I run 16v daily and never really have an issue with it. The only issues I have are with the 12v side.. Never run step downs or your going to be spending a lot of money and energy fixing it all of the time.
  14. I was going to help then... caps lock got stuck and I couldn't read the question.
  15. If that's the case, I am going to work on getting him banned from PayPal. It's ridiculous. He still hasn't responded to me.
