HotRodHam Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 ok so im buying 2 15" Fi Xs with the BP option. i was wondering if i made a box 8 Cu.Ft. tuned to around 30-34 Hz, i haven't decided yet. would this box also work for 2 BTLs? or 2 15" SMDs? because they have the same cutout size and ide like to gradually make my way up to better subs because of the cost of electrical and amps. i know the disp. wouldnt be the same but the smd needs less space then the fi subs anyways so just curious if it'd change the tuning that much just cuz of like .14 displacement difference. the subs will be in a fiber glass box in my trunk. EDIT: i meant to say 8cuft not 4 thats for 1 sub lol my bad 18" Sundown Zv4 D2JL 1000/1 V1XS Power D3200
