PatrickWahl
im new at upgrading electrical systems and I was wondering if this looks right?
Cashdollar2009
Some people fuse right before the secondary battery too. I do not. Fusing right after the starting battery should work out just fine. Diagram looks fine man. What brand wire are you looking to run? jeyrapboy
i would do another fuse before the back battery, so if the wire gets pinched you still have protection.
RXdriver11
Looks good. You could go a little higher on the fuse for the 0gauge, and you could add a run of negative front to back if you have any voltage drop issues. But it should work great, just use grommets and double check your connections. Quote Rebuild Log with the SMD CURRENT.. I have a 15 foot run of raptor 1/0 already from a friend, and I was just gonna grab a 25 ft spool of bullz from ebay for the grounds. Oh yeah and this too. (how did i miss that). That second fuse is so if your wire gets cut right in the middle on the front side the front fuse will blow, and on the rear side the rear fuse will blow. Without it if your wire gets cut you will have a nice little fireworks show going on inside your ride. Quote Rebuild Log with the SMD CURRENT.. Cashdollar2009
Bullz is some really cheap stuff. Wire is one thing that you REALLY get what you pay for. IIRC that stuff sells for the price of 4 gauge. I'd do multiple grounds with that stuff if you are using the Raptor for power. (Raptor isn't a whole lot better than Bullz, but it is better nonetheless.) Quote On 6/30/2011 at 1:11 AM, 'Ray' said: Acoustical energy is free. Electrical energy is not.
