Btl recone question

i have a dual 2 non universal motor, and orderd a dual 1 recone on accident, i emailed FI and he told me that it should work, that most of the motors are universal. i can fit in inside the motor with shims on the side but theres gotta be something else. Any help would be appreiciated!

What do you mean by "its gotta be something else?"

A dual 2ohm motor is the universal gap, the dual 1ohm coil will easily fit in it..as the outer diameter is smaller.
