Madcamper Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 My camper Ford Transit as a vary bad alternator squeal when driving turn any thing electric on and it starts. I have a re con alternator as the original burnt out and a second-hand one caught fire. I have checked the belts and there tight the battery is old and dose make a fizz noise once and a while the seconder battery is only a leisure battery and is almost always charged what can be the problem also this never happened with the original alternator. Thanks Mad Camper is what they call me why you ask well 32 lights on my camper Moving from a camper to a small hatch back blow engine in hatch back buys a estate that spent 3 years in a field with only sheep as friends in all that time get married and become a full time care giver and loss out boot space for subs
