Purplehaze
Okay, so I finished up the crossover rack. Think a little rain is gonna stop me! Not today! Counter sunk some good bolts to hold it in place Now I need some small wire loom. I'd like to find some of the kevlar stuff Here the seat is slid all the way back I think I'll pick up some black door edge guard to use for trim along the top and bottom of the plexiglass. Anyway, thanks for checkin it out. Here is what I found next to do. Some wire clamps all painted and ready And the tint for my headlights and taillights. Pics will be up when finished. Purplehaze
Okay well I got the new voltage meters put in, and both in the same spot, where I wanted them. Now I can finally paint the center console! Anyway, here is what I did. This is the factory piece that I mad previously modified to hold the first volt meter. Well it was just gonna be too much work to try to squeeze both meters into this piece. Plus I really wanted to try some different meters anyway. So it's time to make a new piece to hold them! First I traced the shape onto some 3/8" plywood, and cut it out. And it goes like this Marked for the new meters, and I used the dremmel to start the cuts Test fit... looks good! Now for some carbon fiber vinyl Not perfect, but close enough. I've almost got the hang of it! Carbon Fiber FTW! Next I cut out a piece of plexiglass the same shape, then sandwitched the three together, and added some JB Weld And now it looks like this So now tomorrow, I'll patch the holes left from the bottom meter, re install the cig adapter, and get the center console painted. Man, I'm finding all kinds of stuff to do without spending the first penny! Please leave comments here. Purplehaze
Well, I got the meter wired up anyway. First I pulled everything out of my way Then I wired up separate relays for each meter, since they dont have remote wires Then I put removable terminals on and put it back in So that is that! Now it's on to the center console! Please leave comments here. Purplehaze
So I started on the center console today. First thing I did was to cut out spots for the 2 switches I have to relocate from the new meter rack Then a lil body filler in the bad spots Then some wet sanding Then some primer Then some black paint for the e brake handle Then some paint Then some clear And now she just has to dry, and tomorrow I'll get it put back in. Finished! Next up, the dash and door panels! Please leave comments here.
