Team Sundown's Charles
time for me to rebuild. This time around I want to get a Alternator. But I have no idea what size I need. I'll be running 2 Sundown Saz-2500 and a 100.4. I have 3 Kinetik 2400 in the rear and a 1200 under the hood. 2 runs ea + & -. My voltage never drop below 12.3 with my Saz 3k @ .25 with the above elec. But i'm going to 2 Saz 2.5k. I'm not made of money some i want to know what is the smallest alt i can go with. I have find alt that do any where from 150 to 270amps. I think i'll be ok with a 190amp. Is there away to tell how big a alt in need? 1993 Mazda Mx-3 Subs: 2 18" DC Audio Lvl 4 D.7 Highs amp: Sundown SAX-100.4 Sub amp: Sundown SAZ-3000D Electrical:Kinetik 1200 under hood, 2-Kinetik 2400 rear All 1/0 KnuKonceptz Wire Power/Ground, Big 3, 8Ga Speaker Wire, KnuKonceptz Karma RCA's Dampening: 120sqft 80Mil Thick Sound Destroyer Mat Goal: 150 DB 149.9 Street Bass

herbykw
Go with the largest one in your budget. It's better to have too much then too little 06 300C 5.7 Hemi K&N CAI JVC KW-AVX640 6.1" DVD DC Audio 3.5k 6 DC Audio 8"s 6 cubes 8" aero port at 32hrtz http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/183798-chrysler-300c-8-build/?p=2731834#entry2731834
dohckiller808
Depends how what kind of voltage drop you can live with or how fast you want to feed your batteries. Ideal would be add up all your amp draw then go a tad bit higher on your alt rating.
