Help!? Will this box design work in trunk?

Browsing the internet I discovered this Trunk Volume (ft³)14.1

Currently I Have 4 12's Inside 2 sealed boxes.

The problem is i want them ported.

what would be better one big box for 4 12's or 2 ported boxes

I'm aware the drawing looks terrible at least you can see the general layout and maximum measurements of the trunk.

can anyone tell me if this will work and my ideal tuning frequency is high 30's to 40's keep in mind theses are some cheap subs

it could work, i don't like the port placement though.. it will probably hit the subs if it is too long and if you can't get it long enough it will end up being tuned high 40's low 50's. i didn't bother doing the math to see how big the box is, you said max is 14 cubes and thats more than enough.

Start out boxy, shape as you move along.

how do i tune a port to a certain hz level?

You have to use a port tuner.....I think Steve has one coming out in December called the PT-1.

The length of the port.

subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s

box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz

amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450

New build :

2 obsidian audio 15s

same amp

6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch
