8MileRoad Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Browsing the internet I discovered this Trunk Volume (ft³)14.1 Currently I Have 4 12's Inside 2 sealed boxes. The problem is i want them ported. what would be better one big box for 4 12's or 2 ported boxes here's my idea I'm aware the drawing looks terrible at least you can see the general layout and maximum measurements of the trunk. can anyone tell me if this will work and my ideal tuning frequency is high 30's to 40's keep in mind theses are some cheap subs
sqsux Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 it could work, i don't like the port placement though.. it will probably hit the subs if it is too long and if you can't get it long enough it will end up being tuned high 40's low 50's. i didn't bother doing the math to see how big the box is, you said max is 14 cubes and thats more than enough. Start out boxy, shape as you move along. Dc Audio Team Fur
