armykyle1 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I was thinking about getting four these subs. I don't know which brand though. Price difference in the packages is 40 bucks. The box would most likely be 6cubes @32hz, subs up, port back in a trunk. Maybe smaller since I'll be throwing more than double the rated rms power for four. I wonder if these will have the ability to out perform my 2 D6 12s due to the huge difference in cone area. I couldn't find the tsp's for the fli subs though. I think it would be a fun budget project could put up some decent numbers. That might be a cool little affect! subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450 New build : 2 obsidian audio 15s same amp 6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch

It's equal to the Hifonics HiFi12D4 - I'm doing a " T-Line " Enclosure for the HiFi12D4 ( 1/4 Wave ). But I've done enclosure with just (2) of them, and they sound wonderful for how cheap they are ( $59.00 for 2 ) .. I would tune the MB Quartz to 35Hz ( not lower ), but no higher than 38Hz...
