SS4Luck Posted November 28, 2011 Report Share Posted November 28, 2011 So I've never had a box where bracing was crucial and I'm starting my build for my XLs and trying.to.figure everything out. The box will be 25H 22W 36L. It will have two 15" XLs and is seeming like its gonna be subs up port forward. What's the rule of thumb about bracing where/how? I've seen giant braces out of MDF and I've also seen 1" dowel used.for bracing but don't know which way to go. Also I'm trying.to.figure out roughly how much displacement the bracing will take up so I can start designing the port. I know the port needs to be rounded and have a 45 and I plan on 45s in the corners. Other than that I'm clueless and putting my new badass setup at your guys mercy lol lol or you can just start hooking shit up together and blow up speakers and your amp Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
