Only extra monitors i have are hooked up to computers already. And derrick i just checked it and no onboard graphics card.

I posted this earlier, but apparently it didn't work....

I know this sounds stupid, but did you check that the fan on the video card was spinning? When I built my first computer the connector for the fan was loose and it overheated and shut off or went into protect, and the monitor got no signal.

Maybe the graphics card shit the bed? I mean i checked it and the fan on the card still turns on...i'm baffled. Edit, i didnt even see that post above, yes i checked it. Lol

do you have a spare video card or any friends you can borrow from

maybe your vga or dvi cable might be bad

i say swap monitor to another computer if it turns on you know it can either be your graphic card or motherboard. So you will have to try to borrow a graphic card and place it into the computer. If you use another graphic card and it doesn't work your motherboard is probably donzo! how old is the computer?

when your computer turns on does it beep?
