slammed96 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 I am hooking up a second battery in my truck and having a yellow top under the hood. And putting a kinetic hc2000 in the back. What do I need to run wires to charge the back battery? I've heard of the PAC 200 isolator but is there anything better to use?
SS4Luck Posted December 11, 2011 Report Posted December 11, 2011 You'll need at least 1 run of good 1/0 wire from + terminal on front to + terminal in the back then a good ground location on your frame from the rear - terminal. You could also do ground wire from front - terminal to rear - terminal. Just make sure you have the same amount of ground runs as power runs lol or you can just start hooking shit up together and blow up speakers and your amp
