Freshman6969 Posted December 18, 2011 Report Share Posted December 18, 2011 im just looking for a few examples for a friend ill be doing work with in the near future, its a M3 with 500hp to the wheels(in progress) after hes done ill be doing the audio work, as far as i know he wants a single sub, something cheap but not shitty, aswell as an amp to go with it, opinions? also pics of installs if you got em, anyone work with m3's before? its a 99 e36m3 iirc, whats the spare tire well like on those? big? just not sure how ill go about doing it Quote Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! D-train-13k Posted December 18, 2011 Report Share Posted December 18, 2011 i dont know how large the spare wells are. but you can start by figuring out if the spare is a full size or a donut. then go tire height because they will match the standard height and most donuts are going to be around 6-8 inches thick. bobobass Posted December 18, 2011 Report Share Posted December 18, 2011 (edited) I personally haven't worked with one but with pictures I've seen, the wheel well looks at least to be 1.5-2 cubic feet, maby more. It looks like there is a good amount of depth to work with. Definitely enough room for a ported 10" or a (edit: SEALED 12" not ported. Bleh).
